final thoughts

The finished cut has now been submitted.

On Tuesday we had our last group meeting with Lewis to get some last minute feedback. We had some minor changes with the credits but overall the feedback was positive and made us all feel confident with our film.

I am very pleased with how the film turned out. Its changed a lot since our first meeting as a group in comparison to the final thing.  Originally it was supposed to be a serious film about a dead woman on bench and now its more humorous and highlights the clinches in films. I do think adding the voice over really brought the film together as the narration says what the audience will be thinking when watching the cliche of a film. Also changing the name from 'Stained' to 'Ice cream sales' fits more and work with the light hardheartedness of the film.

The overall look of the film fits with the story, having a washed out look is another cliche of the film. Now the whole film has been colour graded it does fit really well together as before the story and the cutaways looked like two separate films. There is certain shots what could be improved such as the feather shot and the handheld walking shots, if i was to do it again i would spend more time on these types of shot. Other than that I think all the shots work well together and i'm happy with how it looks.

I think the communication within the crew has been great throughout the whole production process we all know whats happening and everyone's been part of each stage. I've really enjoyed working with the crew as each member has got involved and made the film what it is.
Now to see what everyone else thinks on the screenings....
